This summit does not need to be advertised. The northwestern peak of Rysy is the highest peak in Poland. One of the most wonderful but also the most difficult high mountain route in the Tatra Mountains. The vertical distance from Morskie Oko to the top is over 1200 meters up which makes it a trip for people with good condition and endurance. Round trip from Morskie Oko shelter to the top and back takes about 8-10 hours.

Rysy is accessible to anyone although the difficulty of the trail is often underestimated by hikers. A good level of fitness and outdoor experience is recommended before taking on the severely steep, over-crowed, slippery-when-wet slopes of Rysy.

Equipment needed — comfortable sports clothing adapted to the weather conditions, mountain shoes, warm clothes, a rain jacket, sunglasses, sunscreen, at least 2l of drinks. We provide the remaining climbing equipment!
