Hiking to Kościelców Ridge – well known ridge among the Tatra mountaineers
ABOUT THE PLACE
Grań Kościelców is a great offer for people who want to start their adventure with climbing in the Tatra Mountains. It is often compared with reaching the famous Monk. The level of difficulty is similar (also II on the UIAA scale), although the area is more diverse, and the ridge much less crowded than the legendary Monk.
The trip will start with a cable car ride to Kasprowy Wierch or hike from Kuźnice through Hala Gąsienicowa to Mylna Przełęcz, where we will put on climbing equipment and start climbing for 2 hours to the top of Kościelec (2155 masl). The tour is led by a 1rd or 2nd class licensed Tatra guide, an experienced climber and mountaineer. Climbing gear such as harness, helmet and rope is included in the price.

THE PROGRAMME INCLUDES
- 10 hours trip with elements of Tatra training by a licensed Tatra guide authorized to conduct trips outside designated routes,
- rental of climbing equipment,
- extreme sports health insurance.
Additional costs:
- entrance ticket to Tatrzański National Park (10 pln per person),
- transportation to Kuźnice,
- cable car ticket to Kasprowy Wierch (if needed).
FOR WHO?
We dedicate a one-day guide trip to Grań Kościelców for:
For an experienced tourist or beginner climber. The variant we choose leads from Mylna Przełęcz through Zadnia Kościelec (2162 masl) to Kościelec (2155 masl). The estimate of the difficulty of the road is II (UIAA scale). Technically it is not a problem for athletes, although exposure on the ridge provides an unforgettable experience.
